Audio conversion and editing in the browser
zer.ai provides focused audio pages for MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, FLAC and AAC workflows. Convert between supported formats in batches of up to 100 files, see queue progress and download successful results as a ZIP. Use the Online Audio Mixer to layer voice, music and effects on a timeline, or the Internal Audio Recorder to capture permitted audio playing in a browser tab without saving video. The MP3 Converter prepares a compact, widely supported output. You can also cut a section, merge clips or change speed without opening a new application for every task.
Mix, record and prepare browser audio
Choose the mixer when several clips need to overlap, use the internal recorder when the source is playing in a browser tab, and open OGG to MP3 or another dedicated conversion page when only the file format needs to change. These focused pages link to one another so a recording can move into editing or conversion without returning to the full directory.
Choose the right audio format
MP3 is widely supported and convenient for sharing. WAV keeps uncompressed PCM audio for editing, while FLAC preserves lossless audio with smaller files. M4A, OGG and AAC are useful in different playback and publishing workflows; check the destination application's requirements before converting.
Audio privacy and browser limits
Supported operations run locally in the browser. Audio is decoded into memory during processing, so long recordings and large files may need more device memory. Format-conversion batches are limited to 100 files and 500 MB total. Keep the original recording and preview the output before publishing.
